ETF Trading Signals, Low Risk Trading Instruments

By Taylor Bans

Investing in the stock market can be risky. I'm always looking for new strategies to grow my money without too much risk. ETFs are a great way to invest, but with low risk, the returns aren't as good as with other trading instruments. Then I stumbled across ETF Trading Signals.

I like the idea of ETFs, because you can invest in an industry without committing to one company This presents a lower risk for the individual investor like me. Biotech is a great investment market, but a lot of new biotech issues don't do especially well. When you invest in a biotech ETF, even if one issue doesn't do well, you have other companies that make a profit and cover the loss on the company that loses money.

Instead of considering my ETFs as long term financial instruments, I started looking at them as I would any other stock. The low buy in meant that I didn't have to tie up as much capital as I did with some other methods. It isn't as fast as hot stocks, I usually hold my ETFs for one or two months, but following the tips from ETF Trading Signals has helped me to make more in this market than I thought I could. I owe my friend a nice dinner.

So by using the alerts and tips from ETF Trading Signals, you can increase your profits without increasing your risks. There are some advantages to ETFs in addition to the low risk. The buy in on ETFs is relatively low. Even if you don't have a lot to invest, you can buy into ETFs. If you have a strategy to buy and sell ETFs, you can make a reasonably good profit. You do have to pay an annual fee though, as with any mutual fund.

I've been using ETF Trading Signals for about six months and so far they picks have been right more often than they've been wrong. I've made more than I expected to in the ETF market, and my investment capital hasn't been tied up for long periods. I've still minimized my risk while increasing my yield.

This market may not be for everyone. i like to keep my investments diverse for the best returns. I still use hot stock and trend following strategies and I have a little action going in Forex as well. ETFs are an addition to my other market methods and it is one more thing to watch, but I believe its a good investment. You can still, of course, buy ETFs as a long term investment if you aren't interested in keeping up with all the markets ups and downs.

So far, by following ETF Trading Signals I've been able to stay ahead of the curve and make more on my investments than I expected to when I decided to enter this market. I often make more with my other methods, but I also risk more and I have taken heavy losses on hot stocks in the past. The risk is so much lower for ETFs, that I'm more likely to sell because I'm not happy with the return than because of any financial loss on the issue.

Look into ETFs as a long or short term investment and check out ETF Trading Signals to find out which issues are most likely to bring the best yields. This may be the best market for the small investor, because of the low risk factor. I've done better with this than I thought was possible. - 23200

Investing Made Smart With Today's Hot Stocks

By Ben Gosse

Any investor is aware that investing is a little like gambling. There are no guarantees that your investments will produce the returns you expect. Hot stocks can be an especially risky market. That's why, when I came across Today's Hot Stocks while I was doing some market research I doubted that it would work the way they claimed.

There are so many variables involved with hot stocks trading, I didn't see how a software program could accurately take everything into account. I never believe everything I read anyway. There are a lot of scammers ready to take your money and run. Given that the newsletter wasn't expensive, I decided to try out the newsletter for two months.

Since the site offered a sixty day money back guarantee, I decided to see if my friend was right. That was three months ago and I have to admit, I am impressed. Using the Today's Hot Stocks newsletter and email alerts, has helped me make good returns on my investments. Nothing's perfect and I have had a couple of duds, but I really didn't lose much since I was able to get out quickly.

Hot stocks isn't the right investment for people who can't afford to risk a loss. You just can't be right all the time. With Today's Hot Stocks, the risk is a little lower and the rewards can be impressive. I also use software for trend following and I have some other investments since I believe that the best way to protect your investment capital is to diversify your investments. Hot stocks are just a part of my portfolio, but they have become an important part.

I usually use different sources to research my investments and most of those sources are free. I was a little reluctant to pay for a newsletter, but I am glad I decided to pay attention to my friend, even though I thought he was crazy.

For me, the money back guarantee was an incentive to try the newsletter. You really have nothing to lose, and if the information is good, the newsletter pays for itself and you have more money than before you started following the advice. I'm happy to pay for the information now because I'm making a lot more on hot stocks than I did before.

There are a lot of places, including your broker, where you can get advice on hot stocks. Most of the time they got their information from another source, so the data you're getting isn't fresh and may have missed something in the translation. The data from Today's Hot Stocks comes directly from them to you, so there is less chance of a miscommunication.

If you are serious about including hot stocks in your market strategy, I strongly recommend you try the Today's Hot Stocks newsletter, You have nothing to lose and you may find yourself surprised at how much you gain. I know I was. - 23200

Talk To Your Lender About Saving Your Home from Foreclosure

By Doc Schmyz

When your home is on the verge of foreclosure, you certainly will do anything possible to save it. But the problem is how you will do it. The first thing, among many, is going to your lender/banker and asking for help.

For others, contacting the lender at the first sign of financial problems seems to be not such a good idea. It may be because they are embarrassed to discuss money issues to others or they simply don't see the need to inform their lender right away of their present financial standing, most of the time they are thinking it is a temporary problem.

Most people have the perception that lenders, like banks, think only of themselves and don't care about the future of the borrowers. This leads to the common notion that lenders show no mercy to homeowners who have defaulted on payments and will take the homes when the very first window of opportunity opens. The truth is lenders like owners will do everything they can to avoid home foreclosures. So again, the best way to save your home is to work with your lender to solve the problem.

Lenders will send a Notice of Default if you miss payments for 3 consecutive months. Call your lender as soon as possible. Inform them why you have defaulted on a payment and ask for an alternative payment schedule or temporary lower rates until your finances have returned to normal. You can also ask for Forbearance which is where your lender waives some of the penalty fees as a result of default or a mortgage refinance without going through the process of re-application, whichever you think is more economical. Mortgage lenders are more than willing to help you to avoid repossessing your home.

Talk to your lender, inform them of your situation, and ask for payment alternatives. DO NOT WAIT!!! Act fast. Understand the gravity of the situation and do something about it. It is your obligation to pay your mortgage but when worst comes to worst, your lender wants to help you keep your home. - 23200

What is Rollover in Currency Markets?

By Ahmad Hassam

Rollovers are unique to the currency markets. Rollovers are transactions where an open position from one settlement date is rolled over to the next settlement date. Rollovers represent the intersection of interest rate markets and forex markets.

Rollover rates depend on the difference between the interest rates of the two currencies in the pair that you are trading. Only remember that what you are trading is in fact the good old cash. Dont forget currency is money after all.

When you are long on a currency, it is like having a deposit in a bank account. If you are short, its like take a loan from the bank. Just as you would expect to earn interest on a bank deposit and pay interest on a loan, you should expect an interest gain or an interest expense on holding a currency position over time.

Think of the open currency position as one currency with the positive balance (the currency you are long) and one with negative balance (the currency you are short). The difference between the interest rates between the two currencies is called the interest rate differential.

Because your accounts are in two different currencies, the interest rates of two different countries apply. You can find the interest rates of different countries from Wall Street Journal Online, Financial Times online or that matter any good financial website. You should look for the base or benchmark lending rates in each country.

The larger the impact from rollovers, the larger the interest rate differential! The smaller the impact of the rollovers, the narrower the interest rate differential! If you hold an open position past the settlement date or value date, rollovers are usually carried out by your forex broker.

Some online forex brokers apply the rollover rates by applying the rollover credit or debit directly to your margin balance. Other forex brokers apply the rollover rates by adjusting the average rate of your open position. Rollovers are applied to your open currency position by two offsetting trades that result in the same open position.

Rollovers are not applied if you dont carry a position over the change in the value date. Rollovers do not apply for day traders who usually close their positions at the end of each trading day. Rollovers are applied to open position after 5.00 PM EST change in value date. Rollovers only apply to your over night open position carried over to the next day.

If you are long the currency with the higher interest rate and short the currency with the lower interest rate, rollover can earn you interest income. If you are short the currency with the higher interest rate and long the currency with the low interest rates, rollovers will cost you money. - 23200

Low Interest Rates Make Saving Money Difficult

By Pete Veslick

Anyone who has money to invest is hurt by low interest rates. If you want to buy things on credit such as a car you might like the interest rates where they are now but people who have money sitting around are not happy. Right now the saying time is money does not really apply to bank cds and other investments where you make money by lending it to banks.

Low interest rates hurt anyone who has money and doesnt need to borrow. Typically, seniors fall into this category and they are the single largest group that gets hurt at times like this. Seniors should have most or all of their money in safe investments such as CDs, money market accounts and government bonds. When interest rates are low, this means they are earning very little money and for a senior on a fixed budget, this is not a good thing. Seniors get very little media attention but it must be noted that in this down economy, seniors are suffering right along with the rest of us.

To find the best interest rates you need to look in many places to find them. Your local bank will most likely not have the best rates nor will the nearest city to where you live. You will need to search the entire country and to do that you can use the Internet. A nationwide search will quickly reveal where you can find the highest interest rates on any one day and luckily you will probably be able to make the purchase right online.

By looking on the Internet you will be able to find banks that give the best rates and maybe even ones that have promotions for an extra quarter point or so. You need not worry that you might be sending your money to an institution that is in another state or even clear across the country. You will be able to electronically transfer the money to them and so it doesnt matter where the bank is physically located. However, take note that even the highest rates you will find online are still very low compared to a handful of year ago.

If you have a bank CD that is about to mature, there is something you should be aware of. If you let it automatically renew, you will not be given the best CD interest rates for your renewed CD. The bank will never tell you this but in order to get the highest rate they offer, you will have to go in to the bank, close out the maturing CD, and then open a new one. This is very inconvenient to have to do every time one of your CD's matures but that is the only way you will get the best interest rate. You would think that your CD would automatically be renewed at the going highest rate but with most banks, this is not the case. - 23200
